O’Donnellan & Joyce auctioneers will host a talk by renowned businessman, philanthropist, and mountaineer John Burke next week.
The talk, entitled ‘Your Everest — realise your goals in 2019’, will take place on Thursday January 17 in the Harbour Hotel.
John Burke is the proprietor of The Armada Hotel at Spanish Point in Co Clare, and the founder of Elevate, a foundation that provides mental health and wellness programmes for young people. However he is best known as the first Clare man to scale Mount Everest.
Mr Burke climbed the world’s highest mountain in 2017, and was named Clare Person of the Year in the same year in recognition of this achievement as well as his work with Elevate.
