Fantasy Football round 14 preview

It is back to the Premier League after European duties and for Irish fans, domestic action is a welcome distraction from the FAI's strange decision to bring back Mick McCarthy to manage of Ireland after parting ways 16 years ago.

But Ireland do not play again until March and Fantasy managers need to select their teams for this weekend's round of games and get moving back up the Advertiser Tribal League in association with St Anthony's and Claddagh Credit Union.

Leroy Sané (Man City ) v Bournemouth

The German international is in great form but then again, so is every player wearing the sky blue of the league leaders. Sané has racked up five goals and five assists in eight appearances including a brace of goals and an assist in a wonderful display against West Ham last weekend. This Saturday, Man City welcome Bournemouth to Eastlands. Eddie Howe's men are sitting pretty in eighth position but have lost their last three games. There is only going to be one result at the Etihad this weekend and Sané is going to score. Make him captain for double the points.

Raheem Sterling (Man City ) Bournemouth

Another Man City midfielder this time and the same flying form, Raheem Sterling is one of the hottest properties in the league at present. In his last four outings, Sterling has bagged himself three goals and provided five assists to his fellow teammates. Along with Sané, Sterling will torment Bournemouth this Saturday. Get him in your team.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool ) v Everton

The Egyptian may not have hit the heights of last season just yet but Salah is going about his business very quietly and effectively with four goals and two assists in his last five matches. On Sunday the Reds host Merseyside rivals Everton at Anfield and although Marco Silva's men have been in good form recently and are sitting in sixth place, I am going for a home win and Salah to continue his goal scoring form.
