Corrandulla will not be left without a garda says Hoade

Concerns are currently being raised that the Corrandulla area will be left without a garda.

In the past the Corrandulla area had two gardaí in the area - one sergeant and a garda. In the last number of years the area was covered by one garda, who has now retired.

Local Fianna Fáil councillor Mary Hoade has spoken with Supt Tom Curley and expressed to him the fears of the community that the area will be left with no garda. However she has received assurances that a garda will be assigned to the Corrandulla area immediately.
