Great value on offer at DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard’s December auction

All eyes will be on The Galmont Hotel next Thursday for DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard's eagerly awaited December 6 auction. Following a successful autumn auction series the city-based team of auction experts are very excited about next week's event and are, as usual, expecting a big turnout.

Auctioneer James Heaslip will be leading the afternoon's proceedings and is anticipating a busy afternoon. The company has a diverse mix of properties with something to suit all buyers and the team have already seen huge numbers at the open viewings. “From a large office space in Liosban Business Park, opportunities for first time buyers in Bridgewater Court and Palmyra Park, a doer-upper in a prime location in Salthill, to magnificent family homes in Bushypark, Cregmore, and Craughwell, we have a range which will attract all types of buyers, from investors to owner occupiers," he said.

“We have had a great turnout at our viewings and the interest levels would appear to be high. That said, it doesn’t cost anything to view a property and I reckon there will be some value got on the auction floor. All of the lots are keenly priced and we have very modest reserves, which we expect to reach come auction day.”

Heaslip is eager to highlight that the company's success is ultimately down to knowledge of the market: “We put a lot of effort into our auctions and work closely with our DNG colleagues all along the west coast in order to value each property correctly, and it pays off.”

This weekend will see the last of the open viewings ahead of the auction. James Heaslip added: “We have some great value on offer next Thursday and would urge those who have viewed any of the lots to make an effort to come along. Even if you don’t end up being a sucessful bidder, there is always some entertainment on show and, as usual, we’ll give you a cup of tea and a biscuit, which is always welcome.” Full details of all the auction properties can be found online at www.dnggalway.ie
