Ralph Fiennes in Antony and Cleopatra @ The Eye

See this leading British actor in Shakespeare's tale of love, war, and politics

RALPH FIENNES, one of Britain's finest actors, who has appeared in such diverse films as The Grand Budapest Hotel, Schindler's List, and the Harry Potter series, is back on screens at The Eye Cinema.

Fiennes will appear in the British National Theatre's production of Antony and Cleopatra, which will be broadcast live to The Eye on Thursday December 6 at 7pm. He takes on the role of Antony while Cleopatra will be played by Sophie Okonedo. The director is Simon Godwin.

Caesar and his assassins are dead. General Mark Antony now rules alongside his fellow defenders of Rome, but he has fallen for the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra. In a tragic fight between devotion and duty, politics, passion, and power, obsession becomes a catalyst for war.
