110TH STREET, one of Galway's flagship clubnights, led by leading DJs Cyril Briscoe and Cian Ó Cíobháin, celebrate the night's 20th anniversary, with a session in The Blue Note.
110th Street began in late November 1998, when Cian threw a party in Town Hall Theatre. Soon Cyril joined and the club night bloomed in the naughties, enjoying Saturday night residencies in the GPO and The Vic, and welcoming such high profile guests as Erol Alkan, Optimo, The Glimmers, and Andrew Weatherall. While the club no longer runs regularly, 110th Street pops up for occasional dates in The Cellar, Monroe's, Electric, Róisín Dubh, and the Blue Note.
Cian and Cyril will DJ disco, house, and techno in The Blue Note this Saturday from 9pm. Admission is free.
