Sinn Féin mountain challenge fundraiser

Sinn Féin in Galway West will hold a mountain challenge this Saturday in a bid to raise funds for the upcoming Local and European elections.

Members and supporters will climb the Cnoc Mordáin mountain in Ros Muc, Connemara. Teams of five will be assembled with each participant paying the €20 entry fee. The team which finishes first will then be awarded €500.

The climbing route is pre-set and teams must follow this route. Marshals at the foot of the mountain and along the top will be responsible for clocking teams in. Registration will commence at 12 noon at Pearse’s Cottage, with final clock- in for teams at Val Clarke’s pub.
