Fantasy Football November review

Round 12 of the Premier League ended with Man City proving that sky blue is the colour in Manchester as they defeated Man United 3-1 at the Eastlands on Sunday evening.

As the ref blew the whistle to conclude affairs at the Ethiad, it signalled the final league action for a fortnight as the second international break of the season comes into focus. With that in mind, let's look at the top three of the Advertiser Tribal League in association with St Anthony's and Claddagh Credit Union.

1. Melanie Cheung - The M-Pire - 827

The M-Pire is expanding as Melanie Cheung's foot soldiers conquer all that is before them. At the top of the table, The M-Pire's success has been built on the spine of Marcus Alonso at the back, Raheem Sterling in the middle of the park, and Callum Wilson up top bring home the bacon. If Cheung can find a strike partner to support Wilson, then The M-Pire may reign supreme for 2019.

2. Iarla Burke - Walk In The Ji-Sung - 824

Strolling along in second place and only three points behind the league leaders is Walk In The Ji-Sung. Iarla Burke's men have been solid at the back with Marcus Alonso, Andrew Robertson, and Benjamin Mendy, the three reliables, and Matt Doherty and Aaron Wan-Bissaka brought in on a 'horses for courses' basis. In front of goal, Burke has the ever prolific Argentine hitman Sergio Aguero doing the business week in, week out. If Burke can squeeze a few more goals out of his midfield then Walk In The Ji-Sung may be running towards a title victory.

3. Shane Keegan - Max 20 Characters FC - 814

Shane Keegan has managed to do what so many Fantasy managers have failed to do this season and get the best out of Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian has garnered 56 points four outings for The Maximums and looks to be getting back to his old form. With Sergio Aguero and Callum Wilson forming a strong partnership at the attack end of the pitch, Keegan's charges have been going about their business in a quiet and efficient manner. But with the Christmas period fast approaching and games to come thick and fast, will the squad be able to compete or will they have maxed out all of their energy?
