Become a nutritional therapist with CNM

Paula McMeel, a graduate of CNM (College of Naturopathic Medicine ), has always been passionate about nutrition. "I wanted an accredited qualification that would allow me to practise as a recognised practitioner," she said. "So when I came across the nutritional therapy course at CNM I attended an open day. I signed up to study as I was amazed at the comprehensive content and the holistic approach to health. I was also drawn to the 200 clinical hours as part of the course.

"The course has been a huge benefit to my own health and has completely changed the way I think about health," she added. "I love CNM’s approach to treating the body as a whole as opposed to treating a condition.

"My background is in nursing; women's health and midwifery. I want to give women the knowledge to have better health without resorting to medication and crash diets.

"Attending CNM gave me the confidence and know-how to set up my own practice as a naturopathic nutritional therapist. I am especially interested in empowering women to be the best version of themselves, so as a practitioner I am focusing on nutrition for women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, and post-partum."
