A tourism initiative, developed by Galway City Business Association and supported by Failte Ireland, will take place from April 16 to 18 at a number of key locations in the city and Salthill.
Entitled “Galway Showcase” it was inspired by successful festivals over the years. The city’s rich cultural fabric together with arts, food, hospitality and retail institutions throughout the city will be showcased by hosting a series of events and displays.
Well known city venues have been lining up to take part with more than 20 already having confirmed their participation.
“Galway Showcase will expose large crowds of locals and visitors to the city and its exciting range of food, arts, culture and hospitality,” explain the organisers. “With its unmistakable Galwegian flair, friendships and craic, audiences will be welcomed to the City of the Tribes.
“Young and old alike are encouraged to visit the city and enjoy its art, food, music, street performances, face painting, great hospitality and explore the incredible range of value on offer.”
