THE POETS Louis Mulcahy, Susan Lindsay and Maurice Devitt, all published by Galway based publishing house Doire Press, will conclude their A Crack In Everything literary tour, with a reading in the Galway City Library.
The reading is on Tuesday November 30 at 6pm. Louis Mulcahy is an award-winning potter and ceramic sculptor. His The Potter’s Book, examines the creative process which often mirrors the fallibility and miracle of being human. In Milling The Air, Susan Lindsay traces the fractures of self and the fluidity of identity in the digital world. Environmentalist Gordon D’Arcy says her work “combines the fruits of a free-wheeling imagination with taut, carefully wrought language.” In Growing Up In Colour, Maurice Devitt revisits the childhood of a vanished Ireland, through the memory and the pain of transformation.
