On-the-job TV production training with Gréasán na Meán Skillnet

Acadamh Ros na Rún is an exciting new training initiative, giving successful applicants a unique opportunity to develop their skills and train in a live set environment on TG4’s longest running drama series.

Starting Monday October 22, the course will run for eight weeks, from Monday to Friday each week, located at Ros an Rún, An Chuasnóg, Spiddal.

There are opportunities in the following departments; camera; lighting; sound; production office; post production; wardrobe; social media/ PR; make-up; production accounts; art; and directing.

Training will consist of two days classroom and three days on set each week.

Ideal candidates

Candidates must have Irish. Places area available to both newcomers to the TV and film industry and experienced production personnel looking to train in complementary positions. As this programme is highly competitive, ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, adaptable, innovative, willing to take initiative, and have exciting life experience to bring to the course.
