The fourth annual Amach! LGBT Galway table quiz in aid of the Teach Solais LGBT Resource Centre takes place next week in the Harbour Hotel, and everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
The quiz, which is being sponsored by EA Galway, and with questions provided by Ursus Events, will feature rounds covering general knowledge, music, television, two video rounds, and a picture round. There will be prizes for first, second and third place.
All the proceeds from the quiz and raffle will go towards Teach Solais, located on Merchants Road. “We get great support from the community and local businesses but we’re always on the lookout for a sustainable funding stream to keep Teach Solais open and running. Until we get that funding events like this quiz are essential so it’d be great to see a full room and I’m sure it’ll be a lot of fun!” said Maria Molloy, chairperson of Amach! LGBT Galway.
