FOLK SINGER Mary McPartlan has been a driving force in the cultural life of Galway city for many years, and she will be celebrated at the next Druid Sessions concert in The Mick Lally Theatre.
Mairtín O’Connor, Frankie Gavin, Paddy Keenan, Seamie O’Dowd, Lillis Ó Laoire, and Matthew Berrill will play the Druid Sessions on Friday December 7 at 8.30pm. The show has been organised by Ollie Jennings, who said the show is "in recognition of Mary's unique contribution to the cultural and musical life of Galway". The curator of the event is author and broadcaster Vincent Woods.
Tickets are €25 and available from druid.ie or The Mick Lally Theatre box office (091 - 568660 ). A percentage of the proceeds from this concert will go to Cancer Care West.
