Google expert to address bizmentors’ breakfast seminar next week

Karl Lumsden, Agency Lead at Google, will be the main speaker at next week’s, fully booked, bizmentors® Seminars which is taking place in the Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit.

His address at the event on on Tuesday September 11 at 7.30am will focus on Google supports available to start-ups and SMEs along with an overview of digital trends. Speaking ahead of the seminar, Mr Lumsden highlighted the growing importance of video.

“In 2020, 82 per cent of all internet traffic, will be video based. Now more than ever, marketeers must understand their audience and tailor their content to engage with this audience in a useful and frictionless manner,” he said.

Since joining Google in 2011, Karl Lumsden has worked with some of Google’s largest brand customers and media agency groups across the United Kingdom and Ireland, offering guidance on an integrated media strategy across traditional and digital media. More recently, he has been leading the Google Ireland agency team to grow Google’s partnerships with local media across the country.
