DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard launches autumn auction

After one of the most spectacular summers in recent years, the good weather in Galway looks set to continue into September and hopefully beyond. This bodes well for the auction team in DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard who have just put the finishing touches to the first of their 2018 autumn auction series. Thursday October 4 will see more than 20 lots go to the auction floor with properties covering all sectors of the market, and the city centre based auction expert is already reporting huge levels of interest with a busy weekend ahead of open viewings in store this weekend.

Auction director James Heaslip said: “We are really excited about this auction. We have some fantastic properties on show and our auction team has been working hard to prepare for this week's launch. A lot of preparation goes into all our auctions and we do everything we can to ensure that we have all the relevant detail and information available on each property. We thrive on being considered the most professional agents in the city and it is always very satisfying when we have a positive reaction on open viewing weekends. While we are bringing a diverse range of properties to the market and are covering all areas along the west coast, there’s a particular emphasis on the Galway city market with this auction. We have quite a number of city centre properties which will appeal to the owner-occupiers and would expect that a number of potential buyers will bid on multiple lots with such a selection to choose from.”

He added: “Our sales team are highly qualified and know their business, so we are encouraging buyers to come to the open viewings, see what’s on offer and get proper expert advice. We have four weeks until auction day, which is plenty of time for buyers to get their ducks in a row, but I wouldn’t advise leaving it too late, as we expect all lots to sell on the day.”
