Sunny spells and scattered showers — TG4 unveils latest team of weather presenters

TG4’s callout for new weather presenters earlier this year attracted interest from all over the country and highlighted the breadth of talented Irish language speakers from all areas.

Following an intensive screening process, three new presenters were selected, and have started training with TG4 this summer. They are now on screen presenting TG4’s daily weather bulletins.

Neasa Bheáid hails from Gaoth Dobhair in Donegal. She is currently studying Sociology in University College Cork. Neasa loves dance, including ballet, and is avid supporter of the Donegal football team.

Neasa says, “The best thing about the weather are the seasons, each season brings its own beauty. And with Irish weather we can get all four seasons in one day!”.
