Thin Lizzy's Brian Downey to play Monroe's

Downey and his band to perform Live and Dangerous set in Galway

BRIAN DOWNEY, a founder-member of Thin Lizzy, and the drummer with that peerless and influential Irish hard rock band, is coming to Galway to give a concert at Monroe's.

Brian Downey’s Alive and Dangerous, featuring Brian Grace (lead guitar/backing vocals ), Phil Edgar (lead guitar/backing vocals ), and Matt Wilson (bass/lead vocals ), play Monroe's on Sunday September 16 at 8pm.

The band's set list will be the much loved and high regarded in-concert album, 1978's Live and Dangerous, so expect to hear 'Emerald', 'Rosalie', 'Jailbreak', 'The Boys Are Back In Town', and 'Dancing In The Moonlight'. They have just returned from a string of festival dates and successful tours of Scandinavia, Germany, France and Holland. This will be the last time they play the Live And Dangerous set in its entirety before drawing up a new set list for 2019.

Tickets are €23 including booking fee, and are available from www.monroes.ie and www.ticketweb.ie
