Four young Galway rowers have been selected to represent Ireland at the upcoming Coupe de la Jeunesse, which will be hosted by Ireland this year.
Caoileann Nic Dhonncha and Elise Carney of Colaiste Iognaid, and Michael Daly and Matthew Gallagher of St Joseph’s RC, join 28 rowers from Dublin, Wicklow, Limerick, Cork, Kerry, Wexford, Fermanagh and Derry at the annual international rowing regatta for rowers 18 years or under.
The girls from the Jes will compete in the pairs and the eights, while the Bish boys are part of the national four and eights squads.
