WHEN ALL IS RUIN ONCE AGAIN - trailer from Twopair Films on Vimeo.

During director Keith Walsh’s time living in the rural village of Crusheen, and later the parish of Beagh, two huge motorway projects by-passed the communities living there, dramatically changing the landscape. This led Teopair Films into exploring the rhythms and traditions that have echoed for centuries and questions the legacy we leave behind when nature subsumes it all.

Filmed in black and white at firesides, hurling pitches, card games, and boglands, with music from Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, the film portrays rural life during the recession. Tickets are from the Town Hall (091 - 569777, www.tht.ie ).
