DENIS MOCKLER is best known as a singer-songwriter, but next week he lain chest a new poetry collection - Poetry From The Heart of Galway.
The collection will be launched at an event in The Kitchen Café, Galway City Museum, on Thursday July 12 at 6.30pm. The poems were written by Mockler over the past three years. “Many are about the people and events of Galway,” he says. “Some of the poems are spiritual in nature. The collection is thought provoking and uplifting, with wit and humour in good measure.
It is available at Charlie Byrne’s, Bell Book and Candle, Zhivago, and from the author. All are welcome to the launch. the books costs €10.
