Three men walk into the Róisín Dubh to perform comedy

AN EX-PAT American, a comedian from the Rebel County, and a bovine cultivation technician from Tuam, join Karl Spain at the next Comedy KARLnival at the Róisín Dubh.

Jim Elliot began performing comedy in 2005 in his hometown of Washington DC. In 20-08 he relocated to Dublin and now appears regularly at thew Laughter Lounge, the International Comedy club, and the Comedy Crunch, and the Empire, Belfast. His is also a regular on Newstalk FM and writes for The Times (Ireland ). He has performed at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival and the Vodafone Comedy Festival Dublin.

Cork’s Paul Crowley has become one of the most popular acts on the circuit due to this hilarious take on life for the modern Irishman and farmer. A natural storyteller, his easygoing style belies a razor sharp wit, he has been a finalist in the Capital Comedy Club Awards, Paddy Laughs, and the Tedfest Toilet Duck Award.

Eoin Burns is a bovine cultivation technician based in Tuam. Once asked to describe his comedy style, he replied, “I wouldn’t.” He excels in stories of bog burn, silage cutting, and other tales of a misspent rural Irish youth.
