Steve Bennett - back at the Róisín Dubh

Aidan Shields join Eddie Mullarkey and Karl Spain for Tuesday night laugh-fest

STEVE BENNETT, the inaugural Irish Comedian Of The Year winner in 2016, makes a welcome return to the Róisín Dubh stage to headline the next Comedy KARLnival.

Steve is one of Ireland’s most exciting comedic talents. A charismatic and energetic presence, he blends charming wit with musical comedy, and has toured throughout Ireland and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and comedy festivals in Australia. Chortle.co.uk said he was "an adept entertainer with an engagingly wry sense of humour”.

Also on the bill is Aidan Shields, who has played, not only comedy clubs in Ireland and Britain, but also Las Vegas, Vietnam, Russia. His cheeky, irreverent, and animated brand of humour recently won a comedy competition in Russia, against Russian comics, to a Russian audience - despite the fact he does not speak Russian. He is the MC and promoter of JuiceBox Comedy Club in Dundalk.

The Comedy KARLnival takes place on Tuesday July 3. Support is from Galway's Eddie Mullarkey. Karl Spain is the MC. Doors are 8.30pm. Admission is €5 from OMG@Zhivago and www.roisindubh.net, or €7 at the door.
