Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a Renmore accident that took place around 4.45pm on Monday last June 11.
In the incident, a cyclist was struck by a car at the junction of Murrough Avenue and Ballyloughane Road, in Renmore.
As she was cycling onto Ballyloughane Road from Murrough Avenue, her bike was hit by a grey saloon type car. This car continued onto Murrough Avenue and may not be aware that they made contact with the cyclist.
The cyclist suffered a minor injury. Anyone that may have been in the area at the time that may have seen the incident or this vehicle is asked to contact Garda Pat Casey at Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.
