Rising star Andrew Ryan for Comedy KARLnival

'An hour of hilarious comedy' says Edinburgh Festivals magazine, from a man Timeout predicts is 'going to be a huge star'

ANDREW RYAN delivers "an hour of hilarious comedy” according to the Edinburgh Festivals magazine, while Timeout predicts he is “going to be a huge star”. He plays the Comedy KARLnival at Róisín Dubh next week.

From Cork, Andrew's mix of storytelling, cheekiness, friendly demeanour, and observational stand up, has led him to become a rising star on the comedy circuit. He performed his debut show, Ryanopoly, at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012 to rave reviews. His 2014 show, The Life of Ryan, was similarly successful. He returned for more sell out shows in Edinburgh in 2015 and 2016. In Ireland, he has performed at Kilkenny Cat Laughs, Vodafone Comedy Festival, and the Vodafone Comedy Carnival. He has also appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News and Alex Zane’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

A musician and comedian, Hudson Valley's RoseAnn Fino, recorded her debut EP Out From Under in 2015, and a follow-up, Airing Of Grievances, in 2016. After this she began performing stand-up, and has since appeared at the Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, and others around NYC. She is currently working on her new EP, Take You With Me.

The show is on Tuesday June 19. Doors are at 8.30pm. Support is from Mike Morgan and Lucy Pollock. The MC is Karl Spain. Tickets are €5 in advance from OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; the Róisín Dubh; and www.roisindubh.net; or €7 at the door.
