Damien Clark comes to the Comedy KARLnival

Aussie funnyman to join Karl Spain, Niall Horisk, and Ben Butler

AUSSIE COMEDIAN Damian Clark brings his big arms, peaky cap, wry smile, but most importantly, his high-octane, observational, stand-up to the next Comedy KARLnival at the Róisín Dubh.

Damien, "the Aussie prince of the craic", has won acclaim and popularity for his rambunctious and uplifting stand up. He wrote and co-starred in RTE’s 2007 series I DARE YA!; was a regular fixture on RTE's IFTA award-winning Republic of Telly; and a panelist on TV3's The Apprentice: You're Fired! He has also appeared on BBC3 and Comedy Central.

Also on the bill is Niall Horisk, a regular on the Galway and national comedy scene since 2015, who has performed at Whelan's, the Comedy Crunch in Dublin, and Cork Comedy. He has been managing NUIG's award-winning Comedy Society since 2016, and made it to the finals of Show Me The Funny 2017. There will also be a set from Ben Butler. His dry humour and self-deprecating wit has proved a hit with crowds across Ireland, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle.

The MC for the show will be the great Karl Spain. Doors are at 8.30pm. Tickets are €5 from OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; Roisin Dubh; and www.roisindubh.net; or €7 at door.
