Gardai are appealing for information following a number of burglaries in the Ballinasloe area last week.
A shed in the grounds of a house in Cappatagle, Ballinasloe, was burgled last week, and a red Jonserd tractor lawnmower and charger were stolen.
This happened overnight on Tuesday April 17. Anybody who noticed anything connected to the incident around Cappatagle last week, or who has any information, should contact Loughrea Garda Station at 091 842870.
Two days later, on the night of Thursday April 20, a furniture shop on Dunlo Street in Ballinasloe town was burgled. A sum of cash was stolen during this burglary. Anyone who witnessed any unusual activity around Ballinasloe town on the night, or has any information, is asked to contact Ballinasloe Garda Station 09096 31890.
On Friday morning April 20 a house in Clonmoylan, Ballyshrule, Ballinasloe, was broken in to while the homeowners were at work. A large assortment of jewellery was taken, and the home was ransacked. Anyone who noticed anything out of the ordinary around Ballyshrule on the day of this burglary is asked to contact Portumna Garda Station at 09097 42060.
