Renault Ireland powering up at SEAI Energy Show

Renault Ireland tells us in continuing its commitment to electric vehicles, it will showcase the new Kangoo ZE 33 van, the Zoe ZE 40 car, as well as the quirky electric Twizy at stand EV13 during the SEAI Energy Show 2018 at the RDS on April 18 and 19.

Each vehicle will also be available for test drives over the two days of the show.

Renault has been Europe’s best-selling electric vehicle brand since 2010.

The new Kangoo ZE 33 boasts the longest driving range of any electric LCV currently on the market. In NEDC tests, Kangoo Z. 33 recorded a 270km range, which equates to a real-world range of 200km in summer or 120km in colder winter weather. This extended range has been achieved with an increase in battery capacity from 22kWh to 33kWh, enabling more Renault customers to electrify their businesses. New Kangoo ZE 33 is available from €28,190 after the SEAI grant of €3,800 (battery included ).

At 400km, the Renault Zoe ZE 40 has the longest NEDC range of any mainstream electric car. The ZE 40 battery provides an exceptional real-world range of 300km in summer and 200km in cold winter. Zoe is Europe’s best-selling electric vehicle and prices start from €23,490 including battery and SEAI grant (€27,490 with the Z.E. 40 battery ).

The quirky and instantly recognisable two-seater Renault Twizy is perfect for urban driving and starts from €9,995, offering battery hire based on distance travelled.

The SEAI Energy Show is Ireland's leading business to business sustainable energy event, with over 100 exhibitors showcasing energy efficient and renewable energy products and services from Ireland and Europe.
