Galway’s Stewart Construction was recently presented with the prestigious Deloitte Best Managed Company 2018. The company, which demonstrated superior business performance for the fifth year running, was recognised at an awards gala dinner in Dublin’s Convention Centre. The Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards programme is celebrating ten years of recognising management excellence.
Stewart Construction, founded in Salthill in 1902 was first invited to enter the programme in 2014 and became the first Main Contractor in Ireland to attain Gold Standard last year. Employing over 100 full time employees, Stewart Construction is a nationwide contractor with a large percentage of its work in the Dublin region. Strategic focus is ondelivering high end buildings to each clients’ specific requirements and adding value to the process at every stage.
Standing among the top main contractors in Ireland, the company delivers technically advanced building projects in a cost-efficient and safe manner. Their current local portfolio includes a number of schools completed under the rapid delivery framework and they are facilitating the IDA’s job creation programme and foreign direct investment in the Galway region with the delivery of a fifth 3 storey Grade A office block in the IDA Business & Technology Campus in Parkmore East, which will be ready for occupancy in the summer.
