The last four of the Galway senior football championship is now known following another dramatic weekend of football. The winning margins of the weekend's fixtures was one point for three of the games and two points for one other fixture which is a sign just how competitive the Galway championship is at the moment after a long period of Corofin dominance.

The intermediate final pairing is now known and it will be contested by near neighbours Dunmore MacHales and Kilconly after the two sides came through their respective semi-finals. Dunmore have been firm favourites for the title from the outset and Gary Delaney has now led them to the final for the second year running after overcoming his native Corofin.

First-time junior finalists St Colman's will face Liam Mellows in this year's C2 Security Junior A Camogie County final in Lackagh on Sunday (4pm).
Liam Mellows lost out to Abbeyknockmoy in last year’s decider, and although this is St Colman's first final at this level, six of the girls who played in last year's final, are now lining out for St Colman's this weekend.

The Galway Senior football Championship starts to hot up this weekend with the clash of several title hopefuls.
In group one results have gone as expected thus far in what is, on paper, the toughest group. The ‘big boys’ - Corofin, Moycullen and Tuam Stars - are yet to play each other and have claimed maximum points from their first two fixtures, but that changes this weekend with the big clash of Corofin v Moycullen on Saturday evening in Pearse Stadium.
