Co-ordinators of the Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Practice (DMP) at NUI Galway have issued a call to businesses that might benefit from hosting a recently qualified marketing graduate.

Since 1981, NUI Galway has been successfully placing marketing graduates with companies around Ireland through the DMP. To participate in the postgraduate diploma, students must have completed a business degree during which they specialised in marketing.

Mayo pharmacies resume normal service, but dispute is not over

The pharmacy/HSE action is over for now with hundreds of pharmacists once again dispensing medicines under the Community Drug Schemes. But the Irish Pharmaceutical Union has warned that if the HSE places any obstacles in the way of pharmacies resuming normal services they will be met with a “very swift response”.

But neither can any student rush to judgement — so the waiting for actual CAO offers is equally essential. Student privacy is also important, so it does help if parents and relations and neighbours allow for this.
