I am Taran Stakem and I'm a street musician, this is commonly referred to as a busker and this is why I like Galway. What I like about Galway is that is a place where anyone can start playing music and get some attention. There a no current restrictions and no licenses as this would cause new performers to get discouraged. I've been busking for three years now and I play guitar flat on my lap, drum it, tap harmonics out of the guitar and I sing. This has certainly given me a unique style and it's paid off as I have gigs coming up at the Tiny Traders Market which is up and running on March 16th.
