Local cancer support centre appointed to Irish Cancer Society’s National Networking Committee
The Mayo Cancer Support Association, Castlebar, has been elected to the National Networking Committee of the Irish Cancer Society’s Cancer Support Affiliation Programme for the West/Northwest region. The committee, which held its inaugural meeting in the Irish Cancer Society’s offices in Dublin on December 6, will guide the direction of the society’s affiliation programme which sees it support 48 community based cancer support services across the country.
