The Irish Cancer Society, along with local cancer survivor Jennifer Hunt from Castlebar, would like to invite everyone to the official launch of Relay for Life Castlebar 2012, on Thursday, March 29 at 8pm in the TF Royal Hotel, Castlebar.
Relay for Life is an overnight community celebration which honours current and former cancer patients, their families and friends. The event itself will take place on Saturday September 15 and Sunday, September 16 and all funds raised through sponsorship will go to the Irish Cancer Society.
Jennifer Hunt added: “The Relay For Life will be a fantastic, opportunity for survivors to celebrate their amazing achievement of beating the disease, and will show people that it is possible to come through the illness and go on to live a normal, healthy life.”
