Inspector Joe Doherty told the court that gardaí searched an apartment at 3 Hughes Apartments, James Street, Claremorris, where Krzyztof Batogowski was living, on June 3 2011 at 8.45pm. During the search they found a cannabis plant in a wardrobe, which had a heat source overhead and had recently been watered. The plant was valued at €400, Inspector Doherty told the court.
