Computer classes for the over fifty fives

Age Action, under the Getting Started Programme, is running classes for beginners and for people aged 55 and over in the following venues: Ballina Library on Saturday May 8 from 10am to 11.15am for six weeks (16 places); Castlebar Library on Saturday May 8 from 10am to 11.15 am for six weeks (16 places); Claremorris Library on Wednesday April 28 from 3pm to 4pm for six weeks (six places); and in Westport Library on Thursday May 13 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm for six weeks (six places).

Mayo Writers’ Block Festival

Mayo Writers’ Block writers’ festival kicks off tonight (Friday September 26) in the Claremorris Library at 8pm with guest writer Susan Millar DuMars reading from her work, music by local talented musicians and an open mic at 9pm.
