Library talks

On March 2 in Castlebar Library at 8pm there will be a talk by Richard Kirwan entitled If Maps Could Speak, which is an engaging combination of memoir, history, and stories about people and places

In Ballina Library on March 2 from 11am to 1pm a drama workshop will take place for members of the Western Care Beehive Centre with Stephen Doyle.

On March 3 Castlebar Library will host a talk with Kate Connon, author of Healing Visions, First-aid for the Soul, from 7.30pm to 9pm.

Don Mullan will conduct a workshop with dyslexic children from 6pm to 6.30pm in Ballina Library and an open session for the public from 6.30pm to 8pm.

On March 10 from 3pm to 4.30pm The Music Circle within Ballina Active Retirement Group will meet in Ballina Library for an afternoon of musical appreciation.

Claremorris Library will host an art exhibition and sale on March 18 at 6pm.

Children’s author and rugby pundit Brent Pope will visit Ballina Library on March 15. He will have story-time for young children from 3.30pm to 4pm and a session on his life in sport for older children and adults from 4pm to 5pm.
