The Athenry GAA Club will hold a function in The Raheen Woods Hotel on Saturday (March 7) when medals will be presented to the several teams.The junior A football team won the county league and promotion to intermediate football, the junior B footballers won the north board league, while the junior B hurling team won the county championship and have now reached the All Ireland junior B hurling final, having beaten Pilltown from Kilkenny in the semi-final.The medals will be presented by the former Kerry All-Ireland winner and All Star Tommy Doyle.Tickets are available from club officers for €20.
