Galway’s Olympic Boxing Club s celebrating it success at the Connacht boys and youth boxing championship held in Westport with 15 youngsters claiming titles.
In the most successful haul by any club in the province, highlights of the championship included a blistering display by James Cleary at 36kg who stopped his opponent in the first round, while Frankie Cleary defeated last year's All-Ireland champion Jamie Conroy of Mayo in a convincing points victory.
