Portumna qualified for the county final against Loughrea in two weeks’ time when they defeated All-Ireland club champions St Thomas by 0-18 to 2-11 in Saturday’s replay at Kenny Park.
Joe Canning shot 10 points from frees and a ‘65 for his side and they will now face Loughrea in a repeat of recent county finals between the two in 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2009.
