Expansive coaching survey launches across all Gaelic game codes

In what the GAA says is the biggest coaching survey conducted in Irish sport, the organisation, has joined forced with the Ladies Gaelic Football and the Camogie Association to "help shape the future development of Gaelic games".

Oughterard mourns passing of a GAA legend

Oughterard residents lined the streets of the village on Friday to bid farewell to a well-loved local who was at the heart of the GAA.

Kieran O'Sullivan passed away at home after a long illness, and was buried following a private funeral in Kilcummin Cemetery last week.

GAA to hold special remote congress

The GAA is expecting no games will take place before July this year, but will hold a special congress to look at changing competition structures.

In line with the Government's announcement to extend the current restrictions until May 5, the GAA says all action remains suspended and the senior inter-county championships, due to start in May, will be postponed. However, the GAA says it is "highly unlikely" these will be rescheduled any time before the beginning of July "at the earliest".
