The Galway City Museum will hold a Hallowe’en fancy dress party for children Saturday October 31 from 3pm to 4pm.
A storyteller will be present to tell ghost stories to the children and the Galway City Council will be giving out recyclable bags for children to go trick or treating afterwards. There will also be prizes on the day. The event is part of the Galway Aboo Festival.

Conradh Na Gaeilge is running an Irish language course to help people preparing for the Irish Language element of the interview for the graduation diploma in education (primary teaching).
Hibernia College is holding interviews for its post graduate diplomas leading to a qualification in primary school teaching in mid-November. Prospective students must demonstrate competency in spoken Irish.
