Startups from Galway are encouraged to apply for Google’s Adopt a Startup Programme which was launched this week — The 12-week programme is designed to support ambitious startups with potential to scale in Ireland and internationally.

This year’s programme will focus on the areas of Business Planning & Structure Digital Strategy and International Expansion. Senior Google advisors and experts will share their expertise through hands on mentoring to help startups overcome obstacles to their ongoing growth and development.

Enterprise Ireland looking to help food and drink companies

Enterprise Ireland is offering up to €35,000 in funding for food and drink companies who participate in the Food Works programme in 2020. This funding is in addition to the supports already offered by the programme, including in-depth consultancy and advice from the three agencies involved, access to consumer and market research, and bespoke mentoring with industry experts.

The programme, which is a combined initiative of Bord Bia, Enterprise Ireland and Teagasc, is inviting prospective companies to a final introductory meeting in Bord Bia on 27th January before applications close on February 7. Canney welcomes new broadband connection points for the county

Imagine high speed broadband network expands in Galway

Museum offers rare opportunity to view O’Davoren manuscript
