Unveiled at a ceremony in The Connacht Hotel, in Galway City, last week Platform94 will move beyond a physical location in Galway, supporting businesses across the West and delivering scaling expertise for firms in Mayo, Roscommon and Galway.

Regina O’Donoghue joined Ashford Castle 18 years ago as a groups’ coordinator. A lifelong hotel industry professional, Regina was promoted to the position of sales office manager in 2017, with a remit that extended to the Castle’s sales and marketing functions. Her experience and expertise in these areas have resulted in her most recent senior promotion that has been warmly welcomed by Regina’s many colleagues on the Ashford estate.

Lucy, who is a big supporter of Irish charities and an advocate for women making time to look after their mental and physical health, is working with the fundraising platform to help make fundraising easier for women taking part in the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin and participants joining the Cork City Marathon this summer.

Over one hundred students (40 teams) across Atlantic Technological University (ATU) recently competed in the ATU Entrepreneur Awards of the 2023 Enterprise Ireland Student Entrepreur Awards competition. Eleven teams from a wide range of disciplines won awards in the ATU competition and three teams will now go on to compete in the next stage of the national competition.
