MEP Maria Walsh will host a special Backing Business Workshop in Galway tomorrow morning.
The small business and enterprise workshop will take place in PorterShed a Dó, and the event will focus on how sustainability and decarbonisation can help small businesses from across the county to transition into a greener economy.
Friday's workshop will offer an opportunity for local entrepreneurs and businesses to discuss the issues that are important to them. They will also have the chance to meet with MEP Maria Walsh, as well as with Minister Simon Coveney and Minister of State Neale Richmond.
The workshop will feature round table sessions, followed by questions and answers from the floor, and MEP Walsh is inviting business people from Galway city and council to come along with their suggestions and ideas.
The workshop takes place 8am to 10am.
