Boys and girls gathered in great numbers for the even-ages Juvenile B cross-country championships at a sun-drenched Kilmacow course on Sunday. The hard-working members of host club, St Senan’s, marshalled a well laid out course and with Ed Williams on the whistle there was no letup from start to finish. Kilkenny City Harriers (KCH), winners of the A Championships last month were again out in force and were very much to the fore, particularly in the girls’ races. The Castlecomer club were strong in the boys’ races.
