In its second year, the Horseleap Harvest Fair takes place this year on Sunday August 19 behind Paddy Ryan’s pub in Horseleap. LARCC Cancer Support Centre is delighted to be the chosen charity for this year’s event and indeed it is a fitting partnership as the fair takes place in memory and in honour of well-known and highly regarded local man Christy McGuinness who unfortunately died of cancer in 2010.

If you’re planning a summer clear-out at home you might like to know that all money raised in Brian’s Treasure Chest Charity Shop, Castle Street, Mullingar during the first week in August will be donated to LARCC. If you wish to make a donation of clothes, shoes, books, etc, to the shop please mention LARCC, and make sure to spread the word.
