Rolling Sun festival ready to roll into Westport

All literary roads lead to Westport from November 9 to 11 for the third Rolling Sun Festival, a quirky book and literary festival appealing to everyone who has ever enjoyed the written or spoken word. On Friday November 16 and Saturday November 17, for one day and one night the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar celebrates all things Indian as it is transformed into a place of Utsava - the removal of earthly woes - providing you with an opportunity to forget your troubles and enjoy great Indian music, film, dance, poetry, food and much, much more. A feast for the senses.
The festival will be officially opened on Friday November 16 at 7pm by artist and lover of India Anthony O'Brien. The opening will be followed at 7.30pm by a film screening of 3 Idiots, India’s top grossing Indian film ever, starring Aamir Khan. Comedy, drama, romance, song, it has it all.
