The Village Nursing Care Centre announced this week a flood support scheme for older people in the local community. Having recently launched a Home Care Service, The Village Care Centre will offer free home care packages to suitable candidates over the coming fortnight. The service will offer three two hourly visits per week for the next two weeks.

The group provides opportunities for people who stutter to discuss issues around their stammering, as well as providing mutual support.
