Launch of new Galway Ocean Sports Centre

The Galway Ocean Sports Centre, which will provide facilities for all watersports organisations in the city and the region, is to be officially launched by Minister Éamon Ó Cuív tomorrow, February 18, at 5.30pm.

A mobile phone and computer repair store was completely “cleaned out” by four suspects during a night-time burglary in which they made off with equipment valued at €35,000.
A major investigation has now been launched by local gardai who are appealing for witness to come forward.
